The Missive

At the end of Tarsakh, the three adventurers returns to Shadowdale. They had decided to travel the Dales and Cormanthor this summer. However, Lyam receives a missive from Poxmith, his gnomish assistant of his trading company based in Baldurīs Gate. In short, Poxmith tells of a shipment to the Moonshaes that pays well but is also a highrisk venture. He wants to know if he is to accept and if Lyam wants to take care of it. Lyam agrees, and informs the others. Richard has recieved a vision from Silvanus, concerning a danger to the balance of nature. He is eager to journey to the Moonshaes, while Callista is a bit more cautious.
They teleport to Baldurīs Gate and meets the merchant who wants the shipment guarded. There they also meet Lethallien, who has learned of the Cult of Bane from Zhentarim he encountered up north near the Endless Ice Sea. He is very eager to sail to the Moonshaes and all three of them realizes that whatever they say or do wont stop Lethallien from tailing along. They welcome him to join them on this mission. The four agrees to do the guarding, and is given a letter from High Queen Alicia of the Moonshae Islands, by the merchant Panthras who is handling the shipment. They understood how important the shipment was, when they were told of the dark forces active on the Islands, and that the shipment was weapons.
