The beginning of a tale
Two Becomes Three
The Wrath of Nature
In Baldurīs Gate, Lyam arranged to have some rare feathers sold, in order to gain some hard cash. After this, they teleported to Iriaebor, from where they rode to Berdusk. Callista and Lyam left their reports about what happened in Saradush.
Then they teleported to Eveningstar, where they separated. Lyam travelled to Daerlun, while Callista ventured to Highmoon. Lyam looked forward to spend some time with his family, while Callista wanted meet with her friends and to try and find something about her parents strange disappearance.
In early Flamerule, both Lyam and Callista recieved a message from Lord Mourngrym of Shadowdale. He requested their aid in Harper-business, and both Lyam and Callista obeyed the request.
When they arrived in Shadowdale, they were informed of Zhentil Keepīs logging operation in Snowmantle, and of Lanserilīs predicament. They were to travel there immediately, and with them was Richard of Dhedluk to accompany. Richard introduced himself as a druid.
The threesome travelled up to Dagger Falls in Daggerdale, and solved the mysterious plague that festered in the Falls. After this they managed to hire on as mercenaries with a zhentarim agent, and travelled to Snowmantle. They worked undercover for only three days, before their story was seen through, and they were forced to flee into the wood. There they met the Lost, the green elves of the Border Forest. They were given the scroll with the ancient spell Conjure Nature Elemental. With this ace they returned to Snowmantle and read the scroll. The village was ruined, but only zhentilar and zhentarim died at the wrath of nature. The village was saved and they were hailed as heroes.
The band skulked back to Shadowdale, defeating the remains of the Zhentarim command of Snowmantle in an ambush by the Zhentarim.
Well back in Shadowdale, they split up for the winter. Lyam arranged with Lord Mourngrym and Mother Tara to purchase Maneīs Manor, and then teleported to Daerlun. Richard took responsibility for Druidīs Grove in Shadowdale, as the Circle had abandoned the sacred grove and moved to the east parts of Shadowdale, leaving the spiritual need in the hands of the temple of Chauntea.
Thus the winter passed and the Year of the Shield (DR 1367) made its entrance.
