Where spiders crawl

During the next month, the fellowship trains and learns new skills and spells. At the end of Mirtul, they gather in Manes' Manor to lay out their next adventures. Callista asks them anew if they want to follow her to Sulasspryn, to which they responds positively except for Sparrow. He declares that he will not adventure anything for the next few years, and that he has recruited a replacement for him during this time. He introduces Isaak, a warrior. The others of the Fellowship are a bit surprised by this, but they accept his decision.

They decide to travel by use of Callista's flying ship and to start on the 5th day of Flamerule. Almost 10 hours later they arrive in Thentia, were they stop and rests for the night. The next day they continues to Sulasspryn. They leave the ships several miles away from Sulasspryn, as they plan to enter the ruined city as secretly as possible.
Close to the ruined city, they discover the remains of a building. They enter and finds an opening that leads to an abandoned temple to a power called Ibrandul. They have a very tough battle against the two guardian lizards (which the fellowship first believes to be dragons).

When they arrive to the city, they hear combat over a hill. They rush to the crest of the hill, when they spot a very badly damaged giant. Suddenly they find themselves attacked by invisible foes. The first moments of the battle goes badly, but then they manage to get off some magic that shows what they are fighting against, drow. They manages to defeat the drow with great difficulty, and when the battle has ended they can inspect the being they helped. He introduces himself as Albrecht and that he is a cloud giant. He was captured as a slave by the drow, but managed to escape from the dark elves. When Sparrow asks if Albrecht saw any symbols, he describes the Baenre symbol (which Sparrow has seen before). They help Albrecht with healing and provides him with food, but they are in need of more powerful healing to help him with his major wounds. They decide to help Albrecht and to take him to Shadowdale with Callista's flying ship. It takes two trips to transport the giant to Shadowdale, but they manages to transport him there. They leave Albrecht in Zebeyana's care, and she tells them that the ritual is to take place during fullmoon at the end of the month.

They haven't made any plans for their continued exploration of Sulasspryn, and before they can make any, they are summoned by Elminster. He tells them that he needs someone to investigate some strange goings-on in Harrowdale, and they agree to do so.

Here the campaign stopped, as two of the players moved south to Stockholm. We have said that we will play again in the future, but if and when will time only tell.
