Dark Art
Mansion of Horror
The journey to Arabel proves to be a bit more dangerous, as they are attacked by two zhentarim mages riding foulwings. In the spell-battle that occurs, they manages to kill both foulwings, but of the mages there are no sign.
Arabel is no new place for either of them, and Sparrow hires a suite at the Falcons Rest. They go out and hopes to meet with Garthim, a local Harper. Garthim seeks them out and he will try to find some information that could help the Fellowship. They manages to make contact with Gherim, and they follow Sabina, an employee of Gherim, later that night. She travels to a mansion outside of Arabel. They watch it for a while before they attack. They discover many horrors in the Mansion and after a fierce fight, the necromancer that lives in the house flees, as does Sabina. The three adventurers search the house, and discovers some strange items. A stone tablet with a map and some strange runes, and some documents that talks about Dolphin“s Cove and the Bodydealers. They learn that the owner of the house is called Narghai, and they believe that he is travelling to the Dolphin“s Cove, a small bay on Cormyr“s coast at the border to Sembia. They decide to try and cut off Narghai before he reaches the Cove, and they teleport to Thunderstone. There they hire some horses and rides south.
When they reach Dolphin“s Cove, they begin to investigate the ruined beacon tower, known locally as the Ghostbeacon Tower. They enter the cave-system (the Company of the Shining Spear has been here before, but they left after failing to battle through the undead). The three adventurers defeats the undead with magic and blades, and drives away the dark naga that controls the undead. They discover a vast cavern with a docking facility and a large group of men. They fight but are forced to retreat. A wizardess follows them, but Sparrow manages to capture her. They learn that her name is Shaleera, but she doesn“t say much more. During the night, they are attacked by two invisible stalkers, who managest to rescue Shaleera.
The next day they attack again, and manages to drive away the Bodydealers.
They decide to lie in wait for Narghai, who never shows up. However, after two days the Blue Maces of Daerlun appears and starts to clear out the base. The three Harpers leave. Richard travels with magic to Shadowdale, while Sparrow and Callista rides to Thunderstone. When they finally arrives, they teleport to Arabel, gather their horses and rides to Shadowdale.
When Richard comes back home to the Druids' Grove, he discovers tracks after ruthless trappers. He tracks them down and scares the Nine Hells out of them, teaching them to not trap animals in his part of the woods.
