The Halls of the High Queen
The four Harpers walk into the city, and up to the Palace. By showing the letter they was given by the merchant Panthras in Baldurīs Gate, they gained entrance and lodging in the palace. They are told that the High Queen will meet them tomorrow on Mirtul 24, and that they are honored guests of the Palace. They all take to their rooms, and after a bath and dinner, they go to bed.
The next morning, they walk into the Throne Room of the High Queen, and into a battle.
They discover a dozen priests, several orcs, and a couple of mages (one of them is Dagthal) in the Throne Room. After a hard battle, they find themselves victorious again, but several priests and Dagthal managed to get away. The High Queen shows her gratitude to the Harpers by rewarding them status as Lords (and Lady) of the Moonshaes, as well as a monetary reward.
After this the four Harpers sightsees in Caer Callidyr, enjoying themselves after a hectic week. Richard learns of a rumor about a talking doe in Blythe, a hamlet close to the capital.
Richard and Callista travels there, while Lyam is enjoying the pleasures of the Palace. They discover that the rumor spoke true, but that they are not the only ones interested in the doe. A sorcerer of Caer Callidyr named Rhannon Galladorin, as well as a Calishite mage known as Thostigar Ulmhen wants to own the doe. They learn that Thostigar even tried to steal it. Richard outbuys Rhannon, and takes the doe with him back to Caer Callidyr. They discover that the doe is Sharess Phrastranna of Waterdeep, and that she was a human before being a doe. She doesnīt remember how she became a doe, and both
Richard and Callista suspects magic.
On Mirtul 29, Lyam teleports the band back to Shadowdale, except for Lethallien. He wants to stay and seek out the elves known as Llewyrr, and learn more about them.
