Organisation NAME OF ORGANISATION: The Dragonlords of Ahriman
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To free their imprisoned god, Ahriman and to destroy the Guardians of Asgut and the Guardians’ god, Namlos.
LOCATION: The Dragonlords’ Nest (as they call their stronghold) is located in the Frozen North in the Shadows of the Spine of the World Mountains. It is very hard to find except if one knows what one is looking for. Though this may be their stronghold, there are Dragonlords working throughout the realms. TYPE AND NUMBER OF MEMBERS: The Dragonlords of Ahriman is an organisation of evil dragons. They are the creations of Agasja, their demonqueen, and Ahriman, their god. They are humanoids who were mixed with demons and lizard creatures through fell magic to become true dragons of the most evil sort. Depending on type of dragon, the alignment is: Black Dragon - Chaotic evil Blue Dragon - Lawful evil Green Dragon – Lawful evil Red Dragon – Chaotic evil White Dragon - Chaotic evil Their numbers are: 15 Hatchlings 20 Apprentices 30 Warriors 60 Demonlords 90 Dragonlords LEADER: Agasja, the demonqueen
YEAR FOUNDED: The Dragonlords of Ahriman were founded just before the Time of Troubles, when Agasja realised the Guardians will be coming after her.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Dragonlords of Ahriman are an order that mingle three different classes fighter, mage and priest. From their time as hatchlings members are taught to serve Ahriman(their imprisoned god), Agasja and themselves. They are taught the paths of magic and the ways of the warrior. New members are usually those unfortunate humanoids melded by fell magic with demon and lizard creature stock. Their only delight is in killing and suffering, which they usually cause.
HISTORY: THE BEGINNING OF THE DRAGONLORDS OF AHRIMAN In the beginning the god, Ormazd with his son, Ahriman was travelling through which is now known as Marakspace. Ormazd is an ancient god of good, worship on many planes and planets. Ahriman however was but a young god anxious to be worshipped by people of his own.
They came to a planet, it was a beautiful, tropical paradise with only wildlife, spread over two continents, on it, and they called it Maraktor. Ahriman decided this would be his knew place of being. Being but a young god, he was not powerful enough to create complex humanoid life so he turned to his father for assistance. They made a bargain and Ormazd placed the races of man, elf and dwarf on this paradise. These people flourished and they prayed to their god, Ahriman.
The bargain Ahriman agreed to with his father was that Ormazd may take the smaller continent for his own. On this continent did Ormazd place his natural followers, the goodly metallic coloured dragons.
For 500 hundred years the people of Maraktor was content and lived in peace, but them came Agasja, the demonqueen. She seduced Ahriman and led him into her evil ways. He took her as his bride and she used their offspring to enslave Ahrimans’ people.
But the demonqueen was not content with just the slavery she again whispered in her husband, Ahrimans' ear, “My Lord, your father has given his mistakes and failures to you to rule over, he has taken the greatest of creatures, the dragons, for himself. Should thou not also have such great worshippers?” Ahriman then, following his queens’ advice, created dragons of his own. He took humans, elves and dwarven slaves melded them with lizards and demons, and using a powerful spell his dragons were created. These chromatic coloured dragons were the equal to their metallic brothers although they were cold blooded and evil. The chromatic dragons started to cause more bloodshed and the demonqueen revelled in the chaos.
Ormazd learned about the destruction and went seeking for answers from his son. But all that he got was a fight. Ahriman attacked him. Ormazd, who was older and stronger, captured his son and not wanting to kill him imprisoned his son in his own plane. (Allowing Ahriman to grant abilities to his followers but not actually be there to give commands.) Ahriman, in a last effort, stole his fathers’ name and send it to one of his followers to keep until they can use it. With the taking of Ormazds’ name, the power of the god was beginning to fail for his followers did not know his name anymore. If this gods’ power failed and he was destroyed the balance would be disturbed and Maraktor and maybe all the spheres will be affected or worse destroyed. To his followers the nameless god became Namlos (god without a name).
Namlos selected some of his most loyal dragon followers and gave them instruction to find his name. To avoid the detection he also gave his followers the ability to change into any type of humanoid the dragon wishes. They became known as the Guardians of Asgut. Agasja and her followers fled through a portal to where, she did not know. When they finally reached the other side, she did know. They were in the Forgotten Realms, a place she has visited before, the Spine of the World Mountains. She remembered an old stronghold she was summoned to and where none now live(for she had killed all the inhabitants).
So she fled there and started to plan a defence and counter attack against the Guardians, to destroy them and their god, to free her husband and god, Ahriman and take over the Realms. But she had to work carefully for the Guardians must not learn the secret she kept.
Two knew gods are in the realms and thus the age-old battle between good and evil begins anew.
GOALS: To free their imprisoned god, Ahriman, to destroy the Guardians of Asgut and the Guardians’ god, Namlos, to create chaos where ever they can and to rule the Realms.
ALLIES: All evil creatures scared or bought into service.
ENEMIES: The Guardians of Asgut and any pesky good doers.
RANK STRUCTURE: Ranks are from highest(1) to lowest(7):
1.) Agasja, the Demonqueen
2.) Dragon Commander of Black/Blue/Green/Red/White (1 of each chromatic colour, strongest male or female)
3.) Dragonlord of Black/Blue/Green/Red/White
4.) Demonlord
5.) Warrior
6.) Apprentice
7.) Hatchling
SPECIAL INFORMATION: This is another new order I’ve been working on. They are an order consisting of chromatic dragons, but not as we know them in the Realms. Members have the ability to revert to dragon, demon or humanoid form nothing in between (They look like a dragon, demon or their humanoid form).
Training usually starts when captured humanoids are turned 1.) Hatchlings are taught to fight with and without weapons, religious believes and priestly skills, and spell casting. They also appear humanoid. (Level 1-3)
2.) Apprentices are taught thieving skills as well as the above (1). They will be tested here for each of the learned skills and they must pass these tests or die. (3-6)
3.) Warriors learn military strategies, different tactics, fighting and other skills. They are also taken further into the realms. Warriors usually travel with a Demonlord as commander (level 7-10).
4.) Demonlords gain the ability to transform into their demon shape(because of original mix). Many to this often for they dislike their pitiful humanoid shape(although it is needed at times). They also now get their first shot at command. (level 11-14)
5.) At level 15 a demonlord becomes a Dragonlord of Ahriman, after a test. He/she now has the ability to transform into a dragon (Blue, Green, Black, Red or White). Dragonlords of Ahriman gain levels normally and ages as dragons do. They are also granted a special boon that allows their humanoid bodies not to age. They can now transform into humanoid, demon or dragon. When their dragon or humanoid bodies are destroyed they can also take their demon form and when they are destroyed in this form be only banished to the abyss for 100 years(thus they don’t die but they loose their power as dragons and freedom as humanoids).

| Im not sure if you need to add anything else, but you should perhaps create a few NPCs for them? |

I think you should make a template for these dragons, as that seems to fit your intention the best. It will also make it alot easier to create these dragon-demons . |

Start by looking at the existing templates in the MM. They will give a good idea on what a template does and what they look like.
In short, a template is a list of changes made to a base creature. For example, an afflicted lycanthrope is a templated creature, as is a vampire. |
