These forums are very lightly moderated, and as long as everyone are civil and "polite", there will not be any censoring. However, if you post something which can be considered racist or offensive to someone, that post will be deleted.
Repeated offenses will earn you a kick from the FR Portal.

It is fine to post small amounts of data from a book to give a taste of what something or someone is like; or to make your point in a discussion.
It is not fine to make a post that allows someone to get a large amount of detailed information without buying a book. This includes posting the information; offering to send it via email or message; or posting a link to a site where you can get the data.

Do not sign up with multiple names, as that will take away usernames that others would like to use.
If you dont remember your password, use the password retriever to get it. If you dont remember your username and password, mail the Webmaster and he will help you.

Don't use your back-button if you clicked the submit-button by mistake. Edit your post afterward instead if you want to change something.
If you have posted in one forum, don't post the same message again in another forum. Alert the moderator instead that he should move the post.

If noone have answered your post right away (or a while after), dont post again to bump it (move it to the top of the forum list).
It can take a while before someone can answer your post, so be please be patient.

If anyone posts something which relates to XXX-rated, they will be banned.

You are free to post links to websites dedicated to roleplaying games, be they commercial or fan-made.
Links to pirated products, aka warez, will not be tolerated. Repeated offenses will result in banning.

Signatures should be kept short and not cover more than 8 lines or 250 characters (whichever is less).

It is allowed to use an image as a signature, but its height should not be higher than 130 pixels and it shouldn't be wider than 500 pixels.

If you are to post something which could ruin the plot (in a novel or sourcebook) for others, please include a spoiler warning in the topic title. Do this even if the sourcebook/novel is old, as many are new to the Realms and haven't possibly heard about the novel/sourcebook until now.
Also use the special spoiler tag [spoiler ][/spoiler]) around the actual spoiler.

Do not post in all capitals or slang, dont slander others and be civil (if you cannot be polite)

Never flame another member for her opinions, even if you hate everything in a post. If you take offence to a post, alert the moderator instead for flaming the poster.
